Cork Gnome Wedding!

Made for the champagne corks from Esther's hen party as a joke… but ended up actually being used on the cake!!! This is more of a colour work and slight stitch tweak of Made By Manne's pattern than an original, but here goes, my changes are in italics.

I adapted the pattern to do flat and sew up seam rather than knitting in round as I didn't have DP needles at that point. This was quite simple, just alternating knits with purls on even rows, but have detailed below.

Bride dress:
Cast on 15 stitches in white/cream
row 1 - [K1, P1]
row 2 - [P1, K1]
row 3 - knit
row 4 - purl
row 5 - [K1,KFB]
row 6 - purl
repeat rows 5 & 6 two more times

Cast off

Bride hat:
Cast on 15 stitches in white/cream
row 1 - [K1, P1]
row 2 - [K2,YO,K2TOG]
row 3 - knit
row 4 - [K2,YO,K2TOG]
row 5 - [K2TOG, K3]
row 6 - purl
row 7 - [K2TOG, K2]
row 8 - purl
row 9 - [K2TOG, K1]
row 10 - purl
row 11 - [K2TOG]
Draw the thread through the remaining stitches and seam.

Groom suit:
