Secret Santa Gift Pouch

To fit a wee present 7cm x 10cm.

Secret santa was a theme of “environmental” so I gave a little wooden heart and made a pouch for it from “recycled” wool (i.e. stash!!).

Used thin wool (4ply) and big needles (6.5mm) to create the lacey look.

Cast on 16 stitches,
row 1 - [YO, K1] repeat to end
row 2 - [K2TOG] repeat to end

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have the height wanted (for me it was 24 rows).

Sew seam up on the diagonal (knitted flat it looks like a parallelogram) and this will stop it being angular and boxey. Thread ribbon through the holes to make drawstring. And simples, a little gift pouch!
